Teacher of Grades 5 and 6
My name is Nora Kingman and I teach fourth, fifth, and sixth grade at Cornerstone Academy. I grew up and currently live in southeastern Massachusetts. With a father who studied history, a mother who works in book publishing, and a sister who works in theater, I have always been drawn to humanities and learning about the wonderful things humans can accomplish and create.
In high school, I took a student teaching elective, where I was placed in a second grade classroom. This elective sparked my journey to becoming an elementary school teacher. I pursued a degree in Inclusive Elementary & Special Education with a concentration in Human Thought & Expression from Syracuse University, where I graduated in 2021. After graduation, I taught first grade and third grade prior to joining Cornerstone Academy in 2024.
In my free time, I find myself reading, cooking/baking, and spending time with my family and friends. Additionally, I love playing and coaching high school varsity and middle school club volleyball teams.
